We begin each project with an introductory consultation to get to know each other. During this meeting, we want to hear about your project and the how and why behind your vision. Using your collection of ideas and items that inspire you, we will explore your functional requirements and aesthetic and discuss how we can incorporate the things you love. This is the first step to ensure the design is authentic to you.

STEP 1 - ONBOARDING

This is when we start to conceptualize and develop the design direction for your home. First we review and fine tune the architectural plans as needed to ensure they align with your lifestyle. Then, room by room, we will present you with curated palettes along with design sketches to help you envision how your completed space will feel. Once we receive your approval for the design concept, we move onto the finer details.

STEP 2 - DESIGN CONCEPT

We create drawing and specification packages to fully communicateyour curated design to your builder and trades. Your final package includes the necessary floor plans, furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans, elevations, detailed millwork drawings and sections as required to price and construct your home. Thorough design specification documents, including all materials, finishes, lighting, plumbing and their installation methods, are a hallmark our of work, and part of the reason builders love working with us.

STEP 3 - DETAILS + DRAWINGS

We provide your build team with the specifications to construct your home. Ongoing communication and regular site visits will ensure everything runs as seamless as possible and that your design vision is executed with precision and quality.

STEP 4 - CONSTRUCTION

This is where your house begins to feel like a home. We’ll sit down with you to determine your furnishing style along with your needs of the space. Using our furniture plans, we will confirm scale and proportion and present you with furniture recommendations and inspiration images to communicate the direction. Once approval is received, we source all of the items required and provide you with quotes. We can also provide a turnkey service by managing the procurement and installation of your furnishings.
